Please add likes and emoji reactions as triggers to the native BuddyBoss Gamification system.
To clarify: by reactions I mean clicking Like or selecting an emoji reaction, not writing a reply or comment. Gamification triggers for written replies already exist.
We would like to award points when:
A user likes or adds an emoji reaction to an activity post or comment.
A user receives a like or emoji reaction on an activity post or comment.
A like or reaction is removed, with the awarded points deducted again to keep the total accurate.
In our community, points are called “Smiles”. A like or emoji reaction is one of the clearest ways to show that someone’s contribution has created a positive moment for another member. This makes these triggers especially meaningful to our gamification strategy.
The GamiPress integration already supports reaction triggers. It would be very valuable to have the same functionality within native BuddyBoss Gamification, working consistently on both web and in the BuddyBoss App.
