I’d like to suggest adding a Newsletter feature similar to LinkedIn’s newsletter function. This would allow community admins, group leaders, or even individual members (based on permissions) to publish newsletters directly within BuddyBoss.
The feature could include:
The ability to create recurring or one-time newsletters.
An option for members to subscribe or follow specific newsletters.
Notifications to subscribers when a new edition is published.
A simple editor with formatting tools, links, images, and embedded media.
An archive so members can access past newsletters.
This would create significant added value for members by giving them a central, recurring, and engaging way to stay informed and connected to updates, thought leadership, and community highlights—without leaving the BuddyBoss platform.
By integrating newsletters natively, BuddyBoss would help community leaders deepen engagement, build authority, and keep members consistently returning to the platform, much like LinkedIn has done with its newsletters.
