First of all, I’m really impressed with the new Next Gen App and the new App Blocks. The Video Carousel Block, for example, is a great addition.
What do you think about offering a similar block specifically for audio content?
This would be especially useful for meditation providers, coaches, course creators, and anyone offering guided audio sessions inside the app.
Technically, it is already possible to embed and play audio files inside the current Video Carousel Block. However, for a dedicated Audio Block, two optimizations would be very helpful:
Background audio playback
It would be great if background playback worked the same way it does with the regular audio player.
Custom background image
It would be very helpful to choose and display a background image while the audio is playing. Otherwise, audio content currently appears with a black screen, which does not look ideal from a user experience perspective.
For meditation, relaxation, hypnosis, breathing exercises, and similar audio-based content, a dedicated Audio Carousel Block with these options would be a fantastic addition to the Next Gen App.
