Here is some feedback about the iPad version of the BuddyBoss App from our users. This may also apply to other users of the BuddyBoss App service, not just our application.
1) "The Messages function on the iPad doesn't have autocorrect, auto capitalization, or the same Apple iPad text functionality (like spelling correction, etc.), but it does for posting in chat groups."
2) "The iPad version of the app defaults to a smallish font and cannot be changed. Allowing users to change the font size would be a big help in usability."
3) "The iPad version of the app has the Apple window controls always present in the latest iPadOS rather than something that can appear with a tap if desired and hidden again with another tap. This issue impacts navigation when trying to go back a screen."
4) "The text autocorrect, initial capitalization, and spelling functions aren't set up in the feedback or bug reports sections. They work great when posting messages and such."
5) "The iPad version of the software is limited in size. It can be slightly adjusted when using an iPad like a laptop (landscape mode) from most of the height of the screen to the full height of the screen. When using the green full screen mode button, the app moves to the middle of the screen with black borders on either side. I believe the app is emulating the iPhone sized screen instead of capitalizing on the various sizes an app can be on an iPad. I tend to use the webpage version which can be dynamically sized which is a boon while journaling in a second window. My suggestion is to allow for dynamic sizing of the iPad app."
Some of these feedback elements may be easier to fix/implement than others, but it is worth noting for the future versions of the BuddyBoss App.
