Modern Photo & Video Browsing Experience

It would be great if the Photos and Videos pages could offer a more immersive browsing experience, similar to modern social media platforms.

For Videos, I would love to see a vertical, full-screen browsing experience similar to Reels, Shorts or TikTok. Users could simply swipe up or down to move between videos instead of opening a video, going back, and selecting the next one.

For Photos, it would be very useful if users could open a photo and then swipe left or right to continue browsing through all photos without returning to the gallery page each time.

Ideally:

• Videos: vertical swipe navigation between videos, with the video taking up most or all of the screen.
• Photos: horizontal swipe navigation between photos in a full-screen viewer.
• Likes, comments, captions and profile information should remain easily accessible while browsing.
• Users should be able to continue browsing content without repeatedly returning to the Photos or Videos overview page.

This would make media discovery much faster and more intuitive, especially in the mobile app. It would also bring the BuddyBoss media experience closer to what users are already familiar with from Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.

I believe this could significantly increase the amount of media users view per session and make Photos and Videos feel like actual content-discovery features rather than simply media archives.
