We’re excited to roll out ReadyLaunch™, a new built-in layout system for the BuddyBoss Platform that lets you launch your community or membership site faster than ever — no custom theme or design work needed.
This clean, modern design comes pre-styled and pre-configured with all the core BuddyBoss features you need to go live instantly. It’s perfect for new site owners, creators, and anyone who wants a professional-looking site without the complexity.
We want to thank everyone for their feedback on this new feature and the reception has been very positive. We have taken note of all feedback suggestions and if you have any further ideas you can add them as feature requests. Many thanks

Thanks for your feedback so far, I just want to let you know, ReadyLaunch is a non customizable quick launch template that has minimal support for third party plugins so that novice wordpress users/builders and community builders that do not want the fuss of adding third party plugins can just start their communities in minutes. Once a customers community grows and they feel they may need more, then they can make the jump over to the Theme for a lot more customization and third party plugin support if they so wish. I hope this helps provide more clarity in to the feature.

Thank you for the clarification — much appreciated! However, one question arises: could the theme receive an uplifting or perhaps adopt the look and feel of Ready Launch? At the moment, the theme appears less visually appealing compared to Ready Launch itself.
Additionally, there seems to be a compatibility issue with the BuddyBoss Premium Theme, particularly with the header from Ready Launch not integrating well. It would be great to see a more seamless and visually consistent experience here.

Thank you for your efforts and further development. The goal is cool. Unfortunately, the implementation feels like a step backwards. Wordpress currently works with the editor. All Buddyboss modules should be available as blocks there (not just the header). In addition, client-side navigation using the Interactivity API should be a matter of course. We currently have to do all of this manually in our project.
We like the design of the new ReadyLaunch header. It would be great if the new design could be incorporated into the BuddyBoss theme. We look forward to further developments. We hope you enjoy the summer despite all the work 😉

I seem to have a lot of negative space at the top of the page. How do I remove it?

ReadyLaunch is a great idea to bring a better BuddyBoss experience to existing websites without the hassle of switching wp themes.
Unfortunately, currently on all BuddyBoss sites the headers and footers of the wp theme are gone, which goes against the idea of having a consistent experience on the site.
Hopefully this gets changed soon.

I tried it out just to see what it was, and now it wil not TURN OFF. Keeps saying it's Auto-saving, but reverts back to "ON". Very annoying.

Feedback on Theme Issues – Functionality & Mobile Responsiveness
Dear Team,
Thank you for your continued efforts in improving the platform. I would like to share some issues I’ve encountered with the current theme that are affecting the user experience on my site:
Missing Share Option in News Feed
The news feed currently lacks a "Share" button, which limits users' ability to repost or share content with others.
"Read More" Button Not Functioning
In many cases, the "Read More" link does not expand the full post content, which is frustrating for users trying to read longer updates.
Blog Pages Occasionally Not Found
Sometimes, blog pages return a "not found" or 404 error, even though the content exists and is published.
Not Mobile-Friendly
The site layout does not fully adapt to mobile screens. Certain elements overflow or get cut off, which disrupts navigation and usability on smartphones.
Image Display Issues on Mobile
When multiple images are posted together, they may display correctly on desktop but appear broken, misaligned, or overlapping on mobile devices.
These issues are impacting both the aesthetics and usability of the site, especially for mobile users — which is a large portion of our audience.
I hope this feedback helps, and I would really appreciate it if these concerns could be addressed in upcoming updates.

I really like the style of Readylaunch and it's something I have been waiting for for so long as the UX/appearance is something my members really struggle with (and I was tempted to move to Circle for solely this reason, so I'm so happy there has been huge progress).
The issue I am having is I would really like this style (across all areas shown in ReadyLaunch - feed, profiles courses etc.) but I need the additional some very basic customisation and third party-addons (e.g. be able to add a sponsor to our main feed sidebar, have an events feed with the same side bar, be able to break down courses into specific areas and not just link to all courses, have a "start here" style menu tabs in the left sidebar (I understand I can add links, but I am would like them at the top (ideally be able to customise this more).
Is there anyway I can just keep my Buddyboss theme but have all of the styling of ReadyLaunch (including the side bar so they can find their groups etc)? Or is all of this going to come with Ready Launch with more customisable areas?

As it stand there is no way to have the styling in the theme right now. Thats being said due to the positive feedback for the design of ReadyLaunch this has put into motion ideas of how to update the theme. many thanks

ReadyLaunch is really awesome. It really is good refreshment. Thank you guys. Although the only thing that I personally would change is login. You see registration is ok but when people login there should be some description of the website. ReadyLaunch does not this feature as for the rest of the features I can say congrats this is really game changer. I stay with ReadyLaunch its my new favorite feature :). Thx guys for this great update.

Great to hear and we will make note of this request. Many thanks

@Thomas Jutla: I will also point out one small issue. The button Read more is not working. When I want to read the rest of the post I am unable to because the button is not working.
Also the icons on the menu should be a bit bigger on size especially on desktop.
That's what I forgot to mention.

It looks great, it would be good if you could add more styling customization options aswell. A few things I have noticed so far. The option for people to update there cover photo had disappeared along with cover photos. I added my primary colour but it shows in very few places and instead your blue is used (e.g. complete profile sidebar and buttons). Your login page has your logo on now, is this not open to custom styling?
Overall, this is a great addition. If you mix this as a starting base, with some more ability to customize, then you would be on to a winner.

We’ve noticed that CSS stylesheets from builders like Kadence Blocks are not loading correctly on custom post types related to LearnDash (such as topics, lessons, and quizzes). Additionally, plugins like wpDiscuz are not functioning as expected on these pages. It seems that some essential hooks or template compatibility may be missing. We’d really appreciate it if this could be looked into—thanks in advance for your support!

I am concerned that the long-awaited TutorLMS BuddyBoss integration is not included in the ReadyLaunch layout system. ReadyLaunch is ideal for teachers, staff, and students. I am confident that a poll of our educational clients who use TutorLMS would yield positive results. However, the absence of the TutorLMS integration will not be well-received.

Hello
I find the idea interesting.
I run a news media and community that has its own design based on the Elementor "hello" theme.
I use Elementor as a page builder and BuddyBuilder to allow linking BuddyBoss pages with Elementor.
I ran a test to preview the development.
The result is interesting on the special community pages....the ideal would be to be able to insert them into the style of an Elementor page, either via a shortcode or for it to be recognized as a template.
Given the popularity of Elementor, it would be worth it.
The register and login pages also deserve attention - they're the gateway!
A possibility to modify the style would be nice - why not make it a separate plugin?
Here are my modest remarks.

Good points, Luc. Perhaps you could consider hosting the non-community Elementor/Hello content, as a unique website, under your parent domain, and the ReadyLaunch community pages and posts, as a separate website, under a subdomain. We're going to implement this for a client soon. Just a thought. 😀

This is a great suggestion, thanks for your feedback here.

@Eric:
Thanks Eric for your subdomain suggestion. I'll look into it, but I think I've already tried a similar setup and encountered licensing issues (like Elementor) that didn't apply to the subdomain.

@Thomas Jutla:
Dear BuddyBoss Team,
Thank you for your ongoing efforts to improve the BuddyBoss platform. The introduction of ReadyLaunch is a great step forward in offering users more flexibility out of the box.
I’d like to encourage you to consider going one step further by natively supporting Elementor’s Loop and Loop Grid widgets, along with its Dynamic Tags functionality. With these features now maturing in Elementor, a large portion of BuddyBoss content could be handled seamlessly through native loops — unlocking powerful, flexible designs for member profiles, groups, activities, and more.
A deeper integration would allow creators to build dynamic, visually consistent community pages without relying on third-party “bridge” plugins, which often introduce conflicts or limitations.
This could offer a safer, more scalable solution for many users — especially those building complex or branded community experiences.
Thank you for considering this enhancement. It could make BuddyBoss even more attractive to the large Elementor user base.
Best regards,

@Thomas Jutla:
Hello,
I recently tested ReadyLaunch by disabling BuddyBuilder, which I normally use to bridge with Elementor. My active theme is Hello Elementor.
I find the concept very appealing: simple, efficient, and user-friendly. It clearly meets the need for ease of use without requiring a special theme or complex setup.
However, I’ve noticed some limitations:
It's hard to customize the ReadyLaunch pages, especially headers and footers (e.g., to add advertising or specific elements).
There’s no easy way to embed Elementor templates or even use your own Elementor widgets.
Elementor popups (such as "Back to top") are not displaying properly, which indicates some compatibility issues.
It lacks integration logic — if a shortcode or a way to load an Elementor template existed, ReadyLaunch could act more like a "visual subdomain" within the site.
To summarize: ReadyLaunch is well designed for its current purpose, but it seems out of step with the future direction of WordPress, which is increasingly focused on deeper personalization through tools like Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi.
Thank you for your work — the idea is strong. Allowing for more flexibility would truly elevate the solution.
Best regards,

It looks amazing—great job! We’re excited to see the improvements ahead. For now, we’ve tested it on our staging environment and will continue using it there for a while. We’ll share our feedback to help make the final version outstanding. Thank you for your hard work; it looks fantastic, and we’re hopeful this will mark a new chapter for BuddyBoss!
