Require Group Selection Before Creating a Post

I would like to request an option that makes selecting a Group mandatory before a user can create a post.

Desired behavior

When a user clicks the main Create Post / + button, they should first see a screen where they must select one of the Groups.

Only after selecting a Group should the normal post creation screen open.

The post should then automatically be published inside the selected Group.

Users who create a post directly from within a Group can continue using the existing posting flow.

Important

There should be an option to completely disable general activity posts, so users cannot publish a post without first selecting a Group.

Why this would be useful

This would help communities that want all user-generated content to be organized within Groups instead of having general posts outside of them.

It would:

• Keep content better organized
• Make Group-based feeds more useful
• Make it clearer to users where their post will appear
• Prevent unstructured general activity posts
• Allow Groups to become the main structure for community content
