Love that this is prioritized work! I've tried a bunch of calendars and The Event Calendar is the cleanest with the best features, I've done some custom work to get it flowing well with BB and it would be great if the integration supported Group events.

When is this expected to be released?

Thanks for everyone's feedback here and I can see a bit of a trend forming around groups. At the moment The Events Calendar has no group integration. This does not mean there wont be any in the future. thanks

Will each group be able to have their own calendar?

I couldn't wait for BB to implement such a feature. Years ago, I started using a third party calendar plugin that allowed me to assign a calendar per group. I considered The Events Calendar, but the cost just to get RSVPs and the hassle to force group admins to use a category to assign a calendar to their group was unmanagable for them.

It would be amazing to be able to allow group admins to manage their own calendars. Would this allow my group admins to have their own calendars without having to use categories to assign the calendar to the group? Will the RSVP feature be integrated? Will notifications be sent to group members when calendar events are added, changed, or deleted?

I had my developer work with me to allow people to add their Outlook and Google calendars to groups. It's a fussy way to allow group admins to avoid having to maintain multiple calendars (one in BB and their other preferred calendar). But having Events calendar integrated would be helpful and give the group admin better options than they have right now with our "generic" calendar.

Hi guys, I saw your quarterly video and was happy to see you were looking to work with Events Calendar more this year. In the future, I am sure this feature will be needed by me and I strongly welcome in. In regards, to the group creation linked with events creation (and event attendee's being added to the group), I think this is much needed feature for us. I would like to suggest that you look into stronger integration between buddyboss user types/roles and TEC venue's and organisers. More specifically being able to have a venue/organiser linked with their corresponding Buddyboss profile.
