I have gained early access to the BuddyBoss App, and I am planning to actively use the community/group structure. In this context, I would like to request a feature that I believe would be very useful for online education, coaching, community events, and live classes.
Within BuddyBoss, we can create private groups and schedule live meetings/broadcasts through Zoom or similar platforms. However, when it comes to reminding users about these meetings on time and sending them the join link directly, additional third-party solutions are currently needed.
For this reason, I would like to request a WhatsApp Business API / WABA integration within the BuddyBoss App / BuddyBoss Platform.
The suggested feature could work as follows:
When a Zoom or Google Meet meeting is created for a group, the system could automatically send a WhatsApp Business notification to the phone numbers saved in the profiles of the users in that group.
Example notification:
Your Mathematics live class will start today at 7:00 PM.
Join the meeting here: {{join_url}}
This feature would be especially valuable for education platforms, private communities, membership systems, online courses, and consulting/coaching groups. Users often miss email notifications, while WhatsApp notifications are seen much faster and more effectively.
Basic use cases:
With this integration, online meeting tracking would become much easier. It would also help users avoid paying for additional appointment/booking plugins like Amelia or separate notification systems. BuddyBoss would become a much stronger platform by offering community, live events, mobile notifications, and WhatsApp communication within a single ecosystem.
I believe this feature would make a significant difference, especially for community owners using the BuddyBoss App.
Thank you for considering this request.
